Episode 01: Looking Ahead

Student and teacher experiences in school have been portrayed constantly through television and film. These experiences have been depicted in television classics such as ‘Saved by the Bell’ and ‘A Different World’ and in films like ‘Sister Act’, ‘The Breakfast Club’, ‘Dead Poet’s Society’, ‘Lean on Me’, and ‘Stand and Deliver’. Real or imagined they explore the many nuances of our educational spaces.

Being able to prepare for the future requires that one be able to see where you have started and how far you have come. In this episode we briefly look at our own professional journey as educators, the goal for this podcast, and what to look forward to on ‘The 2 Percent’.
